Thanks for the request. We'd like to understand how people think they would use DWF on the iPad/iPhone.
Can you give some details on what you'd use this for? Would you view 2D sheet, 3D models? What would you do, if anything, after you look at it on the iPad? How many people in your organization would use it? Who are they? Can we contact you if we have further questions?
Hi, we would like to view both 2D and 3D.
2D will be used only for viewing probably also markup if possible.
3D would be great to have similar functions like in design review: sections, hide, part properties display, markup
We would have different areas in our company that would use it: Design supervisors, workshop supervisors, maintenace and also sales guys.
You can contact me, best by direct mail
Robert
I have a Client with hundreds of users who are looking to use this technology for both 2D and 3D.
I have presently developed an Windows form application that uses Design Review to access Graphical Data, and allows the connection to database information for Clients to update the database info.
As the IPAD provides a better hardware solution we wish to move this application from the windows environement to the IPAD. There fore a solution and some API
Contact details are Paul@Oakley-cad.co.uk.

Several people in my organisation are starting to use iPads to save lugging both a laptop and paper notebook around between meetings. In an engineering / manufacturing business one of the important issues is that at least 2D DWF and DWG files can be opened on the iPad so a drawing can be accessed without the need to revert to a laptop or desktop. Simple viewer functionality would be sufficient.
Autocad is now on the Ipad, but it would be nice for Revit users to be able to have a fully functional Design Review on the Ipad.
