DWF Batch Process

Hi Folks,

I batch process 3000 DWF maps once a month using AcadMap 2000 and VBA on an
NT4 1.5G machine with 1GIG RAM. To make a long story short the machine
eventually runs out of memory and Acad freezes up. The basic process is to
open my template DWG containing the title block, layout, and plot config. I
use Map functions to query in the map components. Then I print to DWF.
Over time Acad.exe uses up more and more memory. Is there a way to free up
that memory without restarting AutoCAD?

Thanks in advance,
Rogue

Though my reply will be of no help, let me assure you that it is not
something you are doing wrong. At Buzzsaw we tried to use AutoCAD to serve
up PNG images of DWG files, a la MapQuest, and AutoCAD did the same thing
for us. The new Buzzsaw (aka ProjectPoint) has an index server that indexes
the contents of drawings as they are uploaded to the server. We were able to
get ObjectDBX to run on a server for this purpose, but not AutoCAD.
