C++ Programmer Needed

I'm trying to find someone who knows C++ and is familiar with the Viewer tool kit. I would like Viewer to be server based and not require any download by the client.

I can not do this for you, but I
can tell you how this might be done.


 


Run the Viewer on the server and
use the PrintEx method to print draw to a raster DC, then wrap the raster in a
dynamically generated html page and then you will have a zero client solution.

This is true. Running EV (a
client side app) on the server will be the most difficult part of the problem.
Looking on the bright side EV only has a few dialogs and using Spy a
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> 
developer could find the correct windows
messages needed to close them.

Guys, thank you for your response but I'm just a crazy architect and I don't know anything about code. I need to get with someone who knows the language and maybe wants to make a few $'s to work all of this out. Oh, but I do know that raster files can not be measured - I also want to take measurments and do area calculations on the image. Any names you can give me?

Yes you can measure, do area calculations and even full estimates from raster files.

We've been working on something like this for our
AutoCAD files.  We've actually been working on two ways to provide
zero-effort client viewing of DWGs.  E me and I'll fill you in on some of
the approaches we have been taking.
