Any material for programming AEV API with VB

I am new to AEV, is there any documentation
teaching about the use of AEV API in VB6?
Also how about the comparison between the function
in AEV API and Whip API, will Whip API be richer?

The Autodesk Express Viewer Developer Center
contains the link to download the API documentation:

The new API document doesn't support VB6 very well.
I find the Whip! viewer better, it is easy to access in VB6 and it is
faster.

So what you mean is its not good to use VB6 to
program with the AEV API?
So what should I use? VB.NET?
And the Whip! doesn't support new dwf format,
dwf generated by AutoCAD 2000 or Higher seems
don't support.

AEV can be used with VB6 but there is no
documentation for it, so far I know.

For VB.net there is also no
documentation.

I'm writing all dwf using the old 'classic' printer
(PC2 file) so the Whip! viewer can view it.

Only for  fiiles with more then 1 layout I use
the new dwf export.

That is what I mean, no examples for straight
forward VB6.
