AEV coordinated intercepting.......

Good morning,
I expose my problem for the second time (hope in your answer).
Is possible in AEV intercepting the coordinated inside the DWF with the
events of the Mouse (move to right, left, up and down)?
And later have intercepted the coordinated on the DWF drawing I creating to
run-time of the "lightening rectangles (hotspot)"?
This is possible also in Scripting languages (JS, VBS, Etc), or the only
solution is to use the C++ API's (always if with the API's is can do it)?

Regards,
Luca G.

If I understand your question, currently the event APIs are only functional
in C++, however the next version (not the next service pack) will have a
redesigned event engine and such things will be much easier and will
definitely work in JS/VBS, etc.

Thank you, of your answer.
Do you know when the new release exit is foreseen (1 month, 2, etc..)?
Is a beta version available (with event engine in JS/VBS) ?

Regards,
Luca G.

I'm not sure when the release is going to be available, as we are currently
under active development for this product. There is no available beta (or
even alpha!) at this point.

Jeffrey, excuse me if I insist.
But do you not have idea when the distribution of the new AEV is foreseen
(with event engine in scripting language)?
We are in project phase for a customer who has big demands to use this
application very very much, and we must do some forecasts.
I know that very probably you do not know when (because in development
phase) will precisely be given but I wanted only to know when the
distribution is approximately foreseen ( 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, 1
year ).
Our big customer is an old and fond user of all Autodesk products.

Regards,
Luca G.

My guess, and I have heard nothing official, is that Volo View 3 will come
out in May. If this is the case, I would not expect the new AEV until June.
It probably wouldn't be much later, as I think Autodesk wants to rev this
thing pretty quickly. At the International Reprographers Association
conference this month, Autodesk said it is expending 15% of its total R&D
budget on DWF6 and AEV.
