HI

I USUALLY DRAFT WITH MANY OSNAPS ON: ENDPOINT, MIDPOINT CENTER........., BUT FIND ALTHOUGH THE NEAREST OPTION IS USED VERY OFTEN, IT GETS IN THE WAY OF THE OTHERS. THE QUESTION I HAVE: IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE MANY OSNAPS ON (NEAREST TURNED OFF) AND GET NEAREST WITH AN AVAILABLE HOT KEY?

THANKS

You might want to look into the OSMODE variable and create 2 macro buttons -- one for each of the two states you seek to use...

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted :smileyhappy:

Is there not a way to Toggle that from a single button?

From say 4263 to 512 and vice-versa. I've belive I've seen it done but do not know the steps.

Well, just turn off NEAREST in your Osnap settings, and on the occasions it _is_ what you want, just key in NEA>enter>

Go to the keyboard overrides in CUI and set nearest to a key combination of your choosing.
