Hello, I'm fairly new to AutoCad and I've been trying to use the dimensioning tool. However, no arrows are produced and no dimensions are being automatically written. All I'm getting is a line dragged out from the points I want dimensioned, creating a rectangle.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
If you Zoom in close enough around where the arrowheads should be, do you see them? You may only need a larger value in the DIMSCALE System Variable. That affects the sizes of the elements -- the text part and the arrowheads. Usually that is set to the ratio of real life to the drawing, i.e. 48 for 1/4" = 1'-0" imperial scale, 50 for 1:50 metric scale, etc.
