.SAT import versions

Is there a particular version of .SAT/ACIS that is supported to import into Fusion? I received a .SAT Version 22 file that came out of SolidWorks. Neither Fusion 360 or A360 seem to like the file. Is this version of an ACIS file supported?

ACIS R22 was release July of 2011. Fusion 360 supports SAT version 7.0 and previous versions, currently. Do other SAT files have this issue or just this one file?

You could test another file format, even the native SolidWorks  files (up to 2015) should work.

I hope that helps!

I had several files supplied to me from SolidWorks, both in SolidWorks 2015 native format and .SAT (R22). I was able to open all of the native SolidWorks files, but none of the .SAT files. I'll just make a note that if supplied with ACIS, they need to version 7.

Explains why my sat imports fail. I couldn't find this information elsewhere. It would be very helpful if the error message actually stated what version will work.  I was trying v17 and newer versions with no luck.
