Hi @Markclayto,
Sorry to hear this is happening to you! Can you share the file with me and I will take a peek and see if this same issue happens on my computer. My email is james.youmatz@autodesk.com if you prefer not share the public link over the forums.
Thanks,
Hi James i have sent you a link to the file it seems to be isolated to just that design my older designs work in simulation.
Hi @Markclayto,
I took a look at your file and I am experiencing the same issue. Once I switch to the Sim environment it appears that Fusion from that point on acts odd until I relaunch the program. For instance, everything within the file looks good, but once I switch to Sim, I lose the browser tree and ribbon regardless if I switch back to the Model environment. Also, it appears that all my options, including File menu/data panel, stops working as well. Let me chat with some colleagues and see their thoughts on this and why this might be happeing. Thank you for your patience and for sharing this with us!
Thanks,
James,
I saw this problem with the ribbon on Friday. I think I fixed it by promoting an older version to current, but now I'm not able to reproduce the problem with any version of the model.
I never lost the browser tree, but the ribbon was blank for Simulation, Render, and CAM (didn't try Patch or Animation).
Hello,
Thank you for the dataset it helped a lot .
I am able to reproduce the problem with your dataset. I added the issue to our tracing system and our developers are working on it now. I will let you know when we will have any result .
Regards
Pavel
Hi @Markclayto and @jason.tebbe,
I was able to find a workaround to this issue by manually going into the f3d file and editing the Simulation Study. I tested it on my computer and it seems to work correctly at this point! I will go ahead and private message you the .f3z file in case you need it as a backup. Based on your information it sounds like something happened inbetween saves that is causing this issue.
Thanks,
Thanks for the help James much appreciate the model loaded up fine thank you Again.
