insert image

After I insert a image when I go to draw on it, it disappears  so I can not  draw over the top of it.

When I click done. the image is back.

Hoe do I keep the image there.

It sounds like your Sketch in is the timeline before the image Canvas.

Create sketch after the image.

You should be able to simply drag the sketch after the image Canvas in the timeline.
