The other day Fusion tried to update, but my antivirus software (AVG) reported a virus, so I opted for it to quarantine the file. The Fusion update never completed and now Fusion won't start and report a missing NsBase10.dll file. I've tried reinstalling but the installer reports the same issue. I've checked my system and there isn't an uninstaller program to take Fusion 360 off for a fresh install. Anyone any ideas?
Hi,
Sorry to hear of the trouble. Unfortunately it sounds like a manual uninstall may be needed and then reinstalling (without the AV).
To do a quick uninstall for the purposes of reinstall delete or rename the "webdeploy" folder. This folder can be found here:
c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\autodesk
Once deleted/renamed, run the Fusion 360 Client Downloader. This can be found here:
c:\users\<username>\downloads
This will start the installer.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
