Connecting Two Spheres with a Column?

I have two spheres (regular bodies) placed arbitraily in 3D space (they are unaligned in any axis).

I am trying to connect them with a simple primitive column.

Is that possible? Or even just draw a line between their centers?

Ideally I'd like to have a curved pipe between their centers, but I'll settle for a column.

Thank you,
Daniel

Sure!

Draw a Cylinder and move it so it will interset with both Spheres. And use "Modify->Combine".

There's also no need to settle for a stright column. You can sweep a profile along a curved path, a spline for example. Then use "Modify->Combine" to combine the bodies into one.

Thank you for the quick reply!

I wound up doing the following:

   Creating a new Sketch
Creating a spline with endpoints centered inside the two spheres

   Ending the sketch
Rotating the view and then moving individual spline control points in 3D space with Modify->Move
Using Create->Pipe to create a new object along the spline path that connects the two Spheres
   Using Modify->Combine

Worked great!

Thank you,
Daniel
