I am using the CExpressViewerControl (ExpressViewerDll 1.0 Type Library, located at ...\DWF Common\AdView.dll) on a form in a Visual Basic 6 project to display a tif file according to a user-entered file number. I have an explicit line to return the program focus back to the user-entry text box so they may enter another file number. But after diplaying the requested tif file, this viewer control ignores the focus command, forcing the user to click in the text box with the mouse pointer to enter in another number. I also use a TrueView control to display dwg files in the same project. When displaying a dwg file, the program functions as expected, returning focus to the text box, so the problem seems to lie in the ADR control.
I'm using VB6 SP6, Design Review 2001, DWG True View 2010, and XP SP3 32-bit.
Thank you for your question.
It's a known issue of Autodesk Design Review and will be considered for possible fixed in future releases.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Does it work under the newer .Net platform?

Version 2013 is out now; has this issue been fixed or just ignored?
