Unable to open a dwfx file

I have a couple of dwfx files exported form Revit that won't open. It seems like the files that won't open are 16000 kb and higher, since the files that are smaller than that open fine. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this, in design review or revit.

Thank you for your feedback.

Could you please post a DWFx file that cannot be opened in Design Review onto our ftp? So that I can try to reproduce this issue.

Please let me know once the file is posted.

I have the same problem - I think my DWFx files are damaged.  Is there a way to retrieve them? I've got days of comments on the file.

Hi,

we have the same problem with exporting DWFX files from Revit.  Especially when the colorscheme is active.  Is this the reason?  When we make a copy of the view and put them in a new sheet then it works fine for a while.  Unfortunally the problem keeps coming back.  We work in Revit 2011...

Hi Herbert,

is there any problem for opening big files?

I have a similar issue. The properties and model tree doesn't show anything when I have a big file.

The file is too big for attach.

Can you provide ftp for that?

Thank you.
