save hidden views in design review

Hello, is it possible to save view of part hidden in design view?

We have a dwf with a million parts and I only want to look at a few!

Regards

Warren.

ADR is just a viewer, it does not write back to any files to do what you want.

Can anything change a dwf file?

Nope: it's a print copy just like on paper.

Hi,

I also want to save a changed view as the topic owner.

I found an older blog post from 2007 that shows that this was possible in an older version of Design Review.

https://dwf.blogs.com/beyond_the_paper/2007/12/save-custom-vie.html

However I cannot find any save button for custom views. I am using Autodesk Design Review (Build-Version: 14.0.0.179).

Was this possibility to save custom views removed at some point? Or was it maybe moved to a different tool?

Best regards,

Michael

2007 was 12 years ago so who knows... .

Hi,

for sure it's a long time. However I thought I'd rather ask the question here than opening another topic with a related question.

I also found out that it is still possible in the same way as described in the link I posted.

I just could not find the views palette which can be toggled via Home->Workspace->"Show/Hide Palettes".

Best regards,

Michael
