Rotating DWF in 2007

HI Folks!

I have a DWF plan produced from a PDF having plotted it using 'Autodesk DWF Writer for 2D'. However I cannot rotate it. I am after 'Edit Rotate 180°, 90° CCW, or 90° CW'.

Will this be available in 2008 version (or am I missing something)?

The reson I ask is because I have created various stamps and to apply them looking at the drawing sideways is rather awkward!!!

Thanks

I am sad to report that this did not make the cut.

http://dwf.blogs.com/beyond_the_paper/2006/10/software_progra.html

It is now as high on our wish list as it can be without being implemented.

As Scott's blog notes, rotate currently only works with images. With that said, since the DWF came from a PDF, you could take a screen shot of the PDF plan (Shift+Print Screen and paste in to MS Paint). You can then crop or manipulate the screen capture and save it as a supported file format, such as JPG. Then open the screen shot in Design Review. You're free to rotate around the canvas...at least until you add markup.

Best,

True BUT what a palaver. I can do all sorts to manipulate the file/image but it ought not to be necessary.

Roll on April for ADR 2007 and all the issues will be resolved. Autocad/Autodesk won't let us down will they, perish the thought..........

Hi Bernie,

I know, but we play the cards we're dealt;-)

Unfortunately, some workarounds are go waaaaay around.

Although it is high on the customer wish list, rotate sheet is not part of
Autodesk Design Review 2008. It is definitely on the list for a future
release. I mean at this point it can't get any higher.

Thanks Scott

I did mean 2008 of course and excusing the cynicism (a British trait I'm afraid) it's nice that you chaps out there are listening.

Still can't wait for ADR 2008.
