Hi,

From the Symbols button drop-down list, click Manage Catalogs.

Select the one you want to rename, click Rename and type the new name you want.

FWIW, you cannot rename an individual symbol in a symbol catalog once it has been created.

Hope it helps,

C.

Hi guys.

I know this is an old thread, but I've worked out how to do this.

Once you have imported your catalog, export it as a .sym file.

Open that file in Design Review (you'll need to change to 'all files').

Rename the sheets - there is one sheet per symbol. This will be your symbol name in the catalog.

Save the file as a .dwf.

Then use the 'Create Catalog from DWF...' command to import them.

You'll need to add the name of your catalog again.

I did this in Autodesk Design Review 2013.
