"File in Use" warning

We would like to have several members of our team add markup comments to same dwf file so all comments are collected in one document. However, these team members are often at different locations, so there is no easy way to tell if someone else has the document open. Consequently, it is possible for multiple members to be working on same document simultaneously without realizing it is also being edited elesewhere, and  so overwriting any changes that are done by others - "last to save wins."

Is there a way to cause Design Review to warn us that the file is in use when it is first opened, similar to the way MS Office applications do?

Thanks,

Mike

Thank you for your question.

If the file is being used, ADR will open it as "Read-Only". I've added your requirement about "File In Use" warning in our database, and it will be considered for possible inclusion in future releases.

Any further question please let me know.
