Problem with Tahoma font in DWF

Hi,
our standard cover sheet in Autocad or Revit
has text which uses windows Tahoma font.
When output as a DWF & viewed in Design Review
the blocks of text increase in length overlapping
each other.
When the dwf is attached to an Autocad dwg
the text looks fine.
Any suggestions as to the cause of the problem.

Regards Ian

Hi again,
it would appear that Design Review is substituting
Tahoma Bold for Tahoma.
This is happening even if capture all is chosen
when plotting.
Capture all with As Geometry checked works,
but looks a bit scruffy & is not an option in Revit.

Hi,
after all this time trying to persuade
consultants to share with DWF instead of PDF.
OK back to Acrrobat

DWF is intended to address workflows that are not solved by PDF. The key
difference is the metadata that can be placed in a DWF. If your sharing only
involves viewing and printing, then PDF may meet your needs.

We're having the same problem - our default text is Tahoma in AutoCAD, which is being changed to a longer font in Design Review, resulting in notes being chopped off at the edge of the page.

For some reason, there isn't a problem if the same dwf file is opened in DWF Viewer 7. It seems like something has been changed between the older viewer and Design Review.

Correct ADR 2009 is susbstituting Tahoma by Tahoma bold and also shift the text from their correct alignement.
It is corrected since ADR 2009 SP1. even if SP1 is adding a bug related to local admin privileges. Message was edited by: Kal H
