I am using ADR 2011 within my VB.Net application, and am successfully viewing DWF files without issue.
Because the file being viewed is DWF (not yet DWFx), when markups are created and as the associated DWF file is being saved an informational ADR dialog appears stating that the file "uses an older version of the DWF file format", then gives the option to save to the new format.
I've noticed that the dialog only appears if I initiate the save via a button in my application (ExecuteCommand("SAVE")), but does not when I navigate away from the associated DWF file (though it prompts to save in native DWF format as expected).
Can this informational dialog be turned off in ADR 2011 in some way? Saving to DWFx on the fly within my application is not an option at this point.
Thanks for any input!

Thank you for your question.
I believe this dialog only appears when you viewing/operating old version of DWF files. You can suppress this dialog via clicking "Don't show this again" when it pops up.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Sorry for the lack of information.
Is there a way to suppress the dialog from showing through automation, or registry setting?
I'm aware that the dialog can be prevented by checking the checkbox, but I fear end users of my application will become confused when seeing the dialog.
Thanks for your prompt reply.
There is a registry entry for this.
You can suppress this dialog via changing the value (as "1") of registry entry "Suppress DWF Upgrade Warning" under:
1. On XP computers,
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Design Review\Preferences\User Interface\SuppressWarnings"
2. On Vista and Windows 7 computers,
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AppDataLow\Software\Autodesk\Design Review\Preferences\User Interface\SuppressWarnings"
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
