Is ActiveX Control included in dwf composer?

VoloView comes with a nice little ActiveX control than can be embeded in an application or web page.

Does anyone know if Composer comes with a similar control that views not only dwf but raster formats as well.

Composer is actually an Active-X control, so the answer to your question is yes. The API's are about the same as ADV 4.1 so you can use the same API documentation to code Composer as you can ADV. Try going here for the API documentation http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=2418019 "gneff" wrote in message news:11517996.1086885993110.JavaMail.jive@jiveforum2... > VoloView comes with a nice little ActiveX control than can be embeded in an application or web page. > > Does anyone know if Composer comes with a similar control that views not only dwf but raster formats as well.

I believe the Autodesk DWF Viewer and DWF Composer use the same class ID, so HTML pages that reference the ActiveX Control can be satisfied by either product. In short, users who already have either the Autodesk DWF Viewer or DWF Composer can view your web pages without having to install anything. You can copy the snippet of HTML code used to embed DWF Composer and a DWF in a Web site from the DWF Composer Help. It uses the tag. The code is located in the Help at Detailed Steps > Republish > Embedding a DWF File and a Viewer in Other Software > Embed a DWF File and a Viewer in a Web Site.
