We have a client with over 100.000 dwf files on their server. They want to change the filenames for a large numbers of files. Inside the drawing (and DWF) is a block with attributes and one attribute contains the filename. Is it possible to open a DWF file, search and replace the text and save it? It's an old version DWF (DWF V00.42) and it would be nice if we can use vb6 of vb.net for this. I know about the DWF Toolkit but that's C++, I have no experience with that. TIA. Patrick

No, you need to do it in the DWG file and recreate the DWF.

Hello Dean, thanks for the answer. It would save a lot of time if this would work but if it isn't possible then we have to create a new DWF file. Patrick
