I am writting an internal app for my company which will be used on a Windows 8 Pro Tablet. I am using the Design Review (DR) Active X control on a Windows Form within VS 2012 (C#). I would like to remove the entire Ribbin and just create my own 3 or 4 buttons (Windows Controls) to Execute Commands against the DR API. I would like to do this because our plant quality control users only need 3 or 4 commands out of the entire ribbon and command base. Plus I could save some screen real estate.
Is it possible to remove the ribbon and commands and just use my own buttons as commands? If not, is there another workaround for this?
