ADR2012 Won't open dwf file.

Is there file size limitation on ADR2012. I have a 120 meg file that has been converted FROM Navisworks to dwf. It loads to about 60% then just quits. I believe that the Navisworks file is 1.6 gig.

Could the problem be ADR2012 won't load a file this large????

Thank you for your question.

There is not a definite file limit size for ADR. DWF file is compressed file format. Sometimes a little file could spend much more memory to load.

I have logged your request to Autodesk database.

At present I am running windows 7 (HP) 64 bit on a Sony Vaio Laptop with 6Gb ram, 1Gb Vram video, & 1.6 Ghz I7. I was looking thru the requirements and it is specific that the OS requires Window 7 Pro. Could that be the problem? I have also tried compatability with Window XP SP2&3 and that doesn't work either.

Anything else I could try????

It is independent with hardware. Current ADR cannot open very big file. I have logged this issue and been tracking it in our customer feedback list.

How big is very big?  What is the largest size for a DWF?
