Hi Dear Customer -

Thank you very much for using Autodesk Design Review Mobile and provide us your value feedback!

If possible, could you please share me the file you met problem? We could try to look into it.

BTW, there is a good article for the common viewing failure:

Thanks for the response Leon. I've solved the problem by reloading the DWF file after reading the guide you suggested. It is a 45mb file that takes a bit of time to load for viewing but is now working perfectly on my iPad.

Chris,

I'm having install issues with Design Review 2013 on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS.  During attempted install it looks like Design Revew 2012 was uninstalled.  I've made it to your final steps above and am trying to delete specific folders from the registry. Can you tell me which folders pertain to Design Review 2012 as you have described earlier versions:

2. Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\
3. Delete the folder pertaining to the older version of Design Review that's currently installed: - For 2011, delete the 7D4B02D8224399043923932FE716A7F6 folder. - For 2010, delete the 620E9D550BCDFF646BA0869B2722C86F folder. - For 2009, delete the AA360054B346C714C85F04B53A4FFE04 folder. - For 2008, delete the E302FCAFD4F0A9848BC01D5852C3F8BC folder.

I'm hoping this works.

Chris,

I'm getting the same error on a different machine (Windows 7 Professional 32-bit OS) trying to install ADR 2013.  This computer had ADR 2011 previously installed and I made it through all of your directions checking the registry for the old folders.  None of the old folders were there.  I am still getting the same install error.  Any tips on next step are appreciated.  I've now uninstalled ADR from two machines and I can't get the current software to install so we do not have dwf viewer functionality on those machines now.

The .msi file seems to have worked for me on both machines.  http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=10336080

I'd like to know the same thing.  For the life of me I can't install ADR 2013 and I've tried all the solutions listed for unintalling 2012.  Seems to me I need to delete the folder pertaining to ADR 2012?

I get this message when trying to install 2013:

The following failed to install:  Autodesk Design Review 2013 (0x643 Internal Error)

Brock,

Have you tried using the the msi file instead of exe?   http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=10336080    I used that and it worked on both windows 7 machines, 32-bit and 64-bit.  I didn't have to mess around with all this other uninstall process.  Just make sure you read the install instructions for the msi.  You may have to download a couple other items from Windows in advance of install, but those links are provided in the instructions.  Hope this helps you.

That didn't work.  It seems as though something didn't download corretly because when I downloaded the file, the instructions did not match how it was supposed to be installed.  I've had a long day.....I'll give it another shot tomorrow.

Ok, something goofy is going on.  I downloaded the msi file from the link provided.  SetupDesignReview2013bundle.exe is the file that downloaded.  I click on that and the files unzip and then takes me to installation.  Here's the problem...during installation I get this message:

The feature you are trying to use is on a resource that is unavailiable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'SetupDesignReview2012.msi' in the box below

Why is it trying to install ADR 2012?

If I try to reinstall ADR 2012 from my acad2012 disk, I get an error messasge 1714 - the older version 2013 cannot be removed.  2013 is not even installed.

I have no idea.  Any other suggestions?  I remember when I installed ADR2012 I ran into the same sort of problem.  But when I followed the instructions on the first page of this thread by removing all the old folders in the registry, ADR2012 installed just fine.

Brock,  I scrolled down in the install instructions to p2 and followed the install instructions for Install Autodesk Design Review 2013 Silently.  There it had some links to make sure some Microsoft software  was previously installed and then I double clicked the msi installer, SetupDesignReview2013.msi  in the download I got. and everything installed well for me.  That's all I've got.  If this doesn't work for you someone else is going to have to give you some ideas.  It seems kind of hit or miss from all of the posts regarding new versioin ADR install.  Hope this does help.

Thanks - Worked like a charm!

I tried to install ADR2013 silently per the instructions and still get this same message:

The feature you are trying to use is on a resource that is unavailiable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'SetupDesignReview2012.msi' in the box below

When I cancel the install I get this message:

error 1714 - the older version 2013 cannot be removed.

Thanks anyway for your help.
