our application use .Net 3.5 and as a courtesy for our customers we would like to include an installer for Autodesk Design Review on the cd distributed with our product. Since ADR 2012 is based on .Net 4 I was looking for the ADR 2011 version which I understand is still based on 3.5.
I'm aware that ADR 2012 would work with our application, but the issue is more of a sizing problem for the cd. The ADR 2012 bundle including all of the dependencies (mainly .Net 4.0) is 678 MB alone and wouldn't fit on a cd. If we were to use ADR 2011 then we could use the smaller msi file without the dependencies as our application would already be providing them.
The web installer version is not a good option for us because our customers may not have an internet connection on the computers our application will be installed on.
Thanks up front for any help.
