Every time now I am putting parts together in a design, as soon as I go to make them a rigid group to make sure they all move together, when you click ok all parts revert to original position. It never used to do this. PLease help.

This may be a bug. I am expecting Fusion to ask me if I want to accept or revert the pending snapshot.

When you move components you create a "Snapshot" that is history based. This allows you to do positional modeling and relate components to each other based on how they move in relation to each other.

What is happening is you are creating the rigid group after a move, and the snapshot is waiting for you to approve it first. The parts go back to their original position because you haven't accepted the snapshot. In essence the snapshot means "before I go on, I want to create the history stream event of moving these things, i.e. accept a snapshot".

The problem I am finding is Fusion should warn you that you have a pending snapshot. It should give you the chance to either accept or revert the snapshot prior to performing another action.

Does appear to be a bug, you should definitely be asked to either accept or revert the move prior to the Rigid Group being applied.

Reported as FUS-16915.
