keyboard shortcut for cycling within dialog options? (TAB not working...)

Hi, is there a keyboard shortcut to cycle through the dialog options?

For example, when using 'split body' one has to

  1. select command
  2. click target body
  3. click the button for selection of splitting tool
  4. click the splitting tool

instead of having to click in the dialog (step 4) I'd like to be able to just cycle through the dialog buttons with a key as is common in most dialog boxes anywhere.

I presumed tab and alt+tab would work as when cycling through buttons and dialog options elsewhere, but nope.

The tab key does not works for this at this time. You may consider posting this as a feature enhancement request as an Idea in the Fusion 360 Ideastation (link below).

I strongly agree with this request, and am baffled that it didn't get more votes. I tried to upvote it but it's been closed.

I'd like to reopen this string.  I think such a method (I'd like to use the space bar) to proceed through a tool dialogue makes for much more efficient modeling.

3 years later..

Would be good to if Fusion were to implement some type of keyboard shortcut, I am slowly wearing out a patch on my desk with all this mouse movement.

Hi Autodesk Team

I observe the same behavior still in 2020, I have the Paid Version of F360 🤐

how can we get rid of these obsolete Mousclicks?

TAB ist not working (why? Every desktop software product does this)

--> I will turn to Add Ins and scripts, can you point out the way to go here?

Working without TAB Me u cycling in CAD is a showstopper as every engineer knows,
Thanks

Hi @innovatenate please check the status of this, you marked id down as "solved" which could not be further away from the actual situation. 5 (five) years later this remains tedious as in NO other Windows or Web Browser program before. Various easy fixes have been proposed. For us engineers that use the paid version of the program, this is the N0.1 Painpoint, please consider addressing it quick!! Every other CAD has this, with a reason if you ask any engineer out there.

thank you

Can we see which ER this is? It is still not working on my machine. If TAB is not an option, just match it to Middle Mousebutton press,

Thank you

What is the workaround key for TAB , you know the key that does that?
What has been done to address this issue? May I remind you that not only hobbyists use the program?
