Hi,

When you select to download the client through your browser you should be able to run/open it through there as well.

Depending on what platform you're on the file location is normally:

  • Windows - c:\users\<username>\downloads
  • OSX - /Users/<username>/Downloads

The file name should be "Fusion 360 Client Downloader{alphanumeric chars}.exe" (Windows) or "Fusion 360 Client Download{alphanumeric chars}.dmg" (OSX).

If you run/open this file it will begin the further download and installation of the Fusion 360 streamer packages as long as you're connected to the internet.

If you still have trouble please let us know.

Hi,

I'm not 100% sure of the "file" you refer to but if it's what the "client downloader" refers to, that would be the streamer packages that the Fusion 360 Client Downloader copies from the server. These files are compressed "installation" images that are uncompressed and then installed. Once the install is complete these "packages" are then deleted.

If you're still having trouble with the download/install feel free to reach out to me directly at kevin dot baribault at autodesk.com with a day/time/telephone number you can be reached at.

Hi @Anonymous,

You can attach that file directly to a post if you would like. When replying to this, you should see an attachment box where it says to choose file. In here is where you can attach your webdeploy.streamer.log file. This file contains the information of what happened during the installation process for Fusion, so when we see it we should be able to take a better look. Also, you could just attach the file to an email to Kevin's email address, which he posted above. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks,
