October 2014 Update -- Modernization

October 2014 Update

In this update, you will see:

 

Modernized and expanded end-user experience, following on our previous update that introduced a modern and intuitive interface for the administrator.  Configurator 360 uses the latest web technologies to enable support for:

  • A plugin-less experience on all popular browsers (no more Silverlight!)
  • Mac OS (all popular browsers, including Safari)
  • Chrome & Firefox on Android tablets (preliminary support)

 

Performance improvements, which is always a priority for us:

  • A 25% increase in performance in every end-user workflow
  • Additional modest to significant improvements in the initial start-up time based on design complexity
