Has someone already created an assembly of the Kurt D688 vise with the necessary joints in place.

I downloaded from the Kurt website, but all of the bodies are locked together.

Thanks in advance for help.

Attached is a Fusion model of the D688 vise.

If you turn on Component drag (see image) , you can simulate the movement of the vise by turning the handle.

The STEP models on the Kurt website seem to be single body parts, not suited for assembly mechanism studies.
However I was able to convert the SLDPRT file from the Kurt website into a Fusion model.

I also added some joints and some joint limits so that the vise works properly.

Component drag on and break the link of the vise model in the model tree. Then you can drag the movable jaw.

Job well done on the model!

Thanks!
