send to mudbox in 2013 doesnt keep smoothing groups

using max2013 and mudbox 2013

works fine if you import and export but the "send to" function doesn't. Am I missing a tick box somewhere?

usually you have to download the latest fbx plugins from the autodesk site.

no I haven't but if you export normally using fbx it is using the 2013 version, so I assume the latest version ships with the new Max 2013. Plus as I mentioned it works if you export/import normally. It only fails if you use the "Send to" feature

I had the same problem, but when i scaled my object down (box, 1 x 1 x 1 meter + turbosmooth - edit poly) and send that to mudbox, everything "seems" to work fine
