Please read before posting an issue.

Before posting an issue, please:

  • Search Forums. Search the forums to see if the matter has already been discussed.
  • Delete Settings. Delete your Mudbox settings by removing or renaming the Mudbox folder in My Documents.
  • Update Drivers. Check to make sure your graphics card and tablet drivers are the latest released by the manufacturers (search Wacom, Nvidia, ATI, etc. sites).


When posting an issue, please include:

  • Version Number. Include the number of the Mudbox version that you are using (eg. Mudbox 1.0.3).
  • Steps to Reproduce. Describe the steps to reproduce the issue.
  • Other Info: Attaching screen grabs, logs, system info, and meshes can help in diagnosing the issue.

Logs can be found on your hard drive here (if default settings were used during installation):
C:\Program Files\Mudbox\Mudbox 1.0\Logs (the current log can also be viewed in Mudbox's Log window under Windows Menu>Log)


Your computer's System Info can be found within Mudbox here:
Help Menu>System Info (a window will pop up with the information)


Latest drivers for common manufacturers can be found here:

Wacom tablets: www.wacom.com/productsupport/select.cfm
NVIDIA graphics cards: www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
ATI graphics cards: ati.de/support/driver.html

Please note: If you would love to have support from Skymatter rather than the community than please email your issue directly to Skymatter support rather than posting a thread. Please don't post a thread if you already wrote to Skymatter about the same issue.
