Edited Mirrored Curve when Stroked is Mucked

MudBox 2015:

Complete "Edited Curve" around a cylander:

Corresponding Mirrored Curve on the "X-Axis":

MB_failed_curve.jpg

After creating a multiple edit curve with the mirror function on in "X" the mirrored curve is incomplete and corrupt.

If it is a single line segment the function acts normally. However in drawing a curve around a cylander (which is impossible with a single stroke)  results in a corrupted curve. When right-clicking "stroke on curve" the mirrored stroke is mucked.

Results below:

Would be a "Good to have" fix for a future, hopefully very soon update.

I've been searching for an answer to this for 5 mins and I found this exact complaint back in 2012, it's 2022. Why isn't this fixed? What's the deal Mudbox?

to get around it. with the Curve loop tool selected> drag out a line across the arm with mirror turned on> you'll have a cleaner curve
