Time will tell I would imagine, if it is still working fine in a day or two I say the different browser made a difference.

How often do you restart your computer?  I for example only shutdown on Fridays for the weekend and then restart on Monday morning.

Custom Build with Win7 Pro 64Bit SP1
Gigabyte Tecohnology Co. X79-UD3
3.60 gigahertz Intel Core i7-3820
16GB GSkill Ripjaw Z PC3 2133 PC17000
PCI-E ATI FirePro V7800 2GB 256bit
ATA SanDisk SDSSDX24 SCSI Disk Device (256 GB)
Dell 2001FP and (2) 2407WFPHC Triple monitor setup

Agreed.  But hey, evidently new users need emoticons and other bells

and whistles to obtain that state-of-the-art experience they have come

to expect.

"adequate" is a description I will agree on with you for the AUGI forums. Thanks.

Rich Text tab here, what I type is what is published.  WITIWIP if I dare.

No Lost Lines.

No line merging.

Spaces remain between paragraphs.

I am only typing what you are reading, no extra codes.

Make the change, just like moving away from NNTP.

Ok, so what is the HTML tab for?

And why it is the default tab when going into edit mode?

Please don't tell me it's so people can edit their own HTML code after saying "Or vbcode [sic] for the average user?" , since BBCode was invented to be used in forums such as this and is much easier to use than HTML. Plus it keeps people from doing stuff like this:

---------------------

Click "My Settings" then "Preferences" tab check box "use rich text editor"

Rich text is my default not HTML

I'll have to say that I am no longer finding it to be slow. Maybe they worked out some kinks.

Using Firefox (3.5.9), DSL connection.

Ok, so I google a search term, and one of the results point to an Autodesk forum topic.

So I click on the link in google and it takes me to the "forums.autodesk.com" home page, not the topic I wanted.

Then I click "Back" and I'm taken to some Autodesk page with the title "Submit Page" and then that page redirects me right back to the "forums.autodesk.com" home page.

So are all former links to autodesk forum articles broken?
