There have been quite a few ongoing conversations regarding the topic of site load times, and I just wanted to reiterate that this is one of our top priorities at the moment and we appreciate your continued patience and understanding while we work on improving the overall performance.
The following are specific steps that our vendor has takento help alleviatethe issue:
1. Added additional physical memory to the servers hosting the community.
2. Made a code change to one very API-intensive custom component (Expert Elites) to limit the number of calls it makes.
3. Adjusted the method for how certain elements are called into pages.
4. Currently rewriting several drop-down menus to load after the page renders, which will be rolling out shortly.
Please note that this is not finalized by any means and we will continue to press the issue until the results are satisfactory.
