Lesson 2 Drawing 2D Lines, Circles, Arcs and Dimensions

In lesson 1 you learned to make working planes visible which allows for the process of sketching in 2D mode. When you get to this point you can create circles, arcs, lines and other 2D objects. To start the sketching process the first thing you want to do is choose which plane you would like to design your sketch on. By default the CAD Inventor Software begins your sketch on the front plane. To draw a line choose the line command by left clicking the icon located to the left of the ribbon on the top of the screen. After that choose a point on the screen and left click your mouse there to start the line. Once you have done this you can stretch the line to the desired length and direction by moving your mouse that way and left clicking again then right clicking and selecting done, or you can press Escape instead to complete the line. Circles, Arcs, and Rectangles are created in the same manner and all can be dimensioned afterwards.
Once you have drawn your line or the 2D Object of your choice you can dimension it to your specifications. To do this left click the dimension icon located in about the center of the ribbon located at the top of the screen. Next choose the 2D Object you want to dimension and left click on it. Dimensions should appear automatically and then you pull your dimension to your desired position. To edit the dimension left click on it and the Edit Dimension Dialog box should open. This is where you can define your dimensions for your 2D Design in order to have a design that is accurate and precise. In the next lesson we're going to learn how to turn these 2D designs into 3D Models. The process of doing this is easy and anyone with basic computer skills should have no problems at all creating a 3D Model.Visit http://www.elinedesign.com

multiple posts offering basically the same services

Sure is, but to what extent? I mean like one or two post to show your
offering sure, but on a almost daily basis or multiple times a week?

if that is the case, in other words where a company can come in here and
post day after day about their offerings, then forgive me.

You are obviously not a regular here. If you look at some other posters -
that's exactly what they are doing. Why single out one particular guy then?
I am not soliciting his business for but fair is fair. Pay no attention to
him and he will disappear. Or succeed.
Regards,
Igor.
