Job Opening: Civil Engineering/Land Development

My company is looking to hire a civil engineer in South Carolina. See below.

The Assured Group of Companies is a 20 year old privately owned design build development company with offices located in the Midwest and Southeast.  As the owner, developer and contractor we offer a dynamic and rewarding work environment for civil engineers interested in excelling in a design build environment.

We currently have a full time land development civil engineering position open in our Rock Hill, South Carolina Office.


Minimum Qualifications: 
• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• State of SC PE License with 5 + years of site design experience including water quality, utilities and roadways
• Excellent AutoCAD Skills, Civil 3D a requirement
• Experience in land development planning and zoning 
• Self starter and good team player
• 2+ years Experience in preparation of FEMA Flood Studies

• Familiar with USACE permitting as it pertains to wetlands 

Job Preferences: 
• PE License in state of SC.
• Design and drafting capabilities.
• Proficient in Hydra flow and Water Cad.
• Grading Design skills.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in site investigation and due diligence, the preparation of conceptual drawings and cost estimates, soil erosion and sediment control design, grading design and the design of utility systems and roadways.  

Software Experience: 
• Proficient in the use of software programs including AutoCAD (prefer -Civil 3D) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficient in the use of the following design tools for site engineering: 
• Hydra flow- 
• Excel
• TR-55
• Water CAD
