although it is a mystery to me as to why there is no native support for KML import and export

neilyj (No connection with Autodesk other than using the products in the real world)

and if it resolves an issue that's not available through Autodesk products, I'm fine with that, especially when it involves a feature that is no longer available.  Communication and sharing is what this community is all about.

Unintended consequences can lead to all sorts of unwanted advertising, like a cat-flap letting in racoons.  There *is* an adverstising board here for specifically this purpose.
