Hello,

"potential for a flexible employment schedule" as an employee at Parametrix and in particular for this position means that you may have hours flexible enough to pursue continuing education and/or work around other scheduling conflicts that you may have outside of the traditional 8 to 5 work day.

Benefits are available for part time work, specifics can be found on our website or by contacting Parametrix directly.

Thanks for your interest.

Conflicts outside of 8am-5pm! That doesn't seem that flexible to me?? Do
other companies expect that you have to work outside of those hours?? I'm
in Canada so excuse my ignorance of the American work ethic.

Regards Peter.

I know some people here in Saskatchewan that work "flex" time. Basically they have to make up 40 hours per week and they can do that whenever they want - if they choose to work 8-5 ok, of if they work 4 10 hour days no problem.

I think this is what Steve means when he says flexible employment schedule. But I think that it could get misconstrued as "work when we tell you"

Hello again,

Thank youi Ineufeld, the word "outside" was a poor choice on my part. You are correct that the intent is to have the 40 hours or less for part time help to be flexible; start time and end times can be what works for the employee.

Ahhh - that is better! You never know. I always hear nightmare stories
about long work weeks and no holidays from employers state side. I work in
an office that is like that. As long as the work gets done we pretty much
work as much or as little as needs allow. Sounds like a good place to work.

Regards Peter.
