Profile View Properties PROFILE missing

I have created two profiles for my pipe network. The main (large) profile
works as designed with a surface and pipe network. The small (20') profile
uses the same style as the main profile however the surface is not showing
up just the pipe network. I checked the properties of both and on the
"profile" tab the main it shows the surface however on the "profile" tab of
the smaller profile there is no surface data associated. I do not see how to
"add" the surface to the profile. The main profile uses one alignment and
the small profile uses a different alignment. Both profiles use the same
surface. Can a surface be added to the small profile or will I need to
recreate it?

Create Profile by Layout if I am understanding what you are saying. That way
you can add any of your surfaces along that alignment to your profile.

profiles/sample profile from surface/... pick said 20' alignment
