Are very many companies using C3D 2022 in production yet, why / why not?

We have lots of customers using it. Why? Because it's fast and stable.
we do pressure networks here at the utility. we passed over 2021 with the new buggy pressure network methods. it seems a tad bit more stable so we are switching. I have been using it since it came out.
Been using 2022 for all new projects since it came out with no major issues

This is good to hear. We just implemented 2021 back in march. Have to poke the team.
using 2022 here also with no issues.

The first incremental update to 2022.1 is due very soon so may be worth holding out for that but be sure to read the readme to see what changes have been made.

just curious what others mean by "more stable?" I'm still using 2020 but considering upgrading if it's worthwhile. I installed 2021 but have not used it much at all yet
