Upper Teeth Blendshape

Hi!

We generated a character with the Blendshape option. We end up with BlendShapes on the main mesh, H_DDS_LowRes, and on the bottom teeth mesh, l_TeethDown.

However, there are no BlendShapes on the upper teeth, l_TeethUp.

Is it a problem on our side only or are we missing something maybe? If not, would it be possible to add it please, as this would really be required to make this option complete.

Thanks a lot for your time!

Hi,

We apologize for the problem.

This is a known issue when importing the fbx file in Maya.

If you generate the Maya (.mb) file and open it in Maya, you’ll see that the teeth are connected.

The issue is just with the .fbx files and you can fix it by adding the expressions on the teeth

Here’s a script example you can run to connect the teeth (P.S. You may have to modify the script to match the names in the scene. The names depend on the resolution)

Best regards

Sophie
