Licensing for free-to-the-public models

What is the licensing for the free-to-the-public downloaded models? You mentioned that you were "working on making the entire feature set available to even more people by offering a subscription version within the next couple months." Will this provide the general public the ability to purchase models without having a "valid Subscription to a qualifying Media & Entertainment product"? Are there any plans to add such a pricing model if not? Thanks! -Mike

As you can read here on Scott Sheppard's blog, (http://labs.blogs.com/its_alive_in_the_lab/2014/02/project-pinocchio-graduates-to-autodesk-character... you'll see he says that from March 28th, you should be able to buy Cloud Credits.

Non-subscription customers (without 3ds Max nor Maya) will be able to purchase cloud credits just for Autodesk Character Generator via the Autodesk eStore starting on March 28, 2014.

As for the free Characters, I believe they have the same terms of service as the ones you bought with Cloud Credits. (I will email Henry this question and he will validate this on this thread).

Cheers!

Luc

It is now possible to purchase standalone access to Character Generator in the Autodesk Store for customers in North America.  Access for some countries in Europe and Asia will be avaialble starting May 9th & May 12th.

At this time, the usage-rights for the characters that you generate are unrestricted whether they are free or require purchase.
