have seen others on here with this problem but I haven't seen a solution. Is
there anyone that has actually gone through this and solved it? If so please
post your solution. Thanks.

Ok...I just got this error message after trying to start AutoCad 2010 running on Win10. Windows updated over the weekend and on Monday AM, AutoCad would not start. I tried re-starting, restoring to a previous version of windows, all with no success. Here is what worked for me: Go to start button, and left click on AutoDesk. One of the options is to export AutoCad 2010 settings. When I clicked on that, it reviewed my settings and said I was missing Net 2.0 and Net 3.0. It went to MS and found the missing files and installed them. Then I backed out without actually exporting the AutoCad settings. After a re-start AutoCad loaded up and started as normal. Hope it keeps working....this was lot's easier than a fresh copy of Windows !
Thank you so much for providing this solution!
I tried to export AutoCAD 2017 settings, and it warned me that the .NET FRAMEWORK had some problems. So I solved them and opened AutoCAD successfully!
