I have a cad problem through paperspace only. On rare occasions, all models leaders are normal but, when you work thru paperspace the leader setup on its own dimstyle becomes two different colors. this only happens thru paperspace. the arrow it self is chagnes to two colors not the line that you can extend. I don't change varialbes or any other dimstyle changes. it just changes color. Only when working thru paperspace.
Viewports can have their own unique layer settings, separate from modelspace: are you sure that not your problem? While inside that viewport start LAYER command and check out the settings found under the VP columns on that popup.
