Symbols Library

We are looking for a really good mechanical symbols library. We use to have
Mech 2D/3D-EMT v2.1 on Release 13. I really liked it because it was so easy
to use. It allowed you to input size of fasteners and length with or
without washers in all the views. It also had majority of structural steel
components. It worked great but we were not able to update when we switched
to R14. Does anyone know if a newer version exist for ACAD2000?

We used Autodesk Symbols 97 with R14 but the menu file flipped out on us so
we stopped using it. I was not to impressed because with the fasteners you
were not able to spec a length. The blocks usually had to be exploded to
draw at different lengths.

I was told about Symbols 2000 by AutoDesk but if it is like Symbols 97 I
don't think that's what we want. I was also informed that I could use
Symbols 97 with ACAD 2000 by using the Design Center feature in ACAD.

My search to find something better is starting here. There's just gotta be
something better.

If you have any advice of better programs let me know. Thanks in advance.
