of the hooks to make us all become subscription members was the offer of free
extensions to our AutoDESK products. I have downloaded and used the Land
Desktop VA editor and the CAD standards monitor, but only gave the rest of the
extensions a cursory glance. Then the Design Publishing Extension became
available, and after reading the blurb, it seemed ideal to produce the volume
of drawings I have had to publish recently.
Alas, since Land Desktop does not allow me to have multi-drawing
compatibility, (The SDI value is set to 3, and cannot be changed) I cannot use
what would have been an invaluable tool.
Does anyone else have problems with the extensions, promising more than
they achieve?
P.S. We became subscription members for other reasons outwith the offer of
a few free symbols and the extensions.
