sheets and borders

Is this even possible I must ask... I have my project set up in project navitgator and all of my sheet files, currently have the wrong title borders. Is there a I can delete the existing border which is a block and add in a new block, different name?

also is there a way that I can do a mess deletion of a image that are inserted into all those sheets as well?

What happen is that I created new title borders, where our office logo is a vector and the file is self containing, in the pass we had our logo be a image that was xrefed from a location on the server. We are in the process of change around that harddrive, but now all those sheets are linked to that location.

what can I do?

Typically what we do is:

our title blocks (Borders), are set up as an Xref. These are then referenced into what we call a sheet file (which also contains the base plan Xref).

We then drop in an attribute block that contains all of the sheet specific info into that "Sheet file".

This way if the title block changes, we only need to change it in the xref.

But to answer your question if I understood correctly, Try "blockreplace"

You could try the Replace Block express tool. There is a command line option
you can use in a script: -blockreplace

You can create a simple script and use a program like the "Simple Batch
Processor" (found here:

to update the drawings...
