Request for Copies of CAD Standards

Does anyone have copies of published CAD Standards that they might want part
with? I am curious to see what others have in their standards. A recent
post had some examples of outlines but I would like to see the finished
product. I work in a Public Works environment and am working on my own
standards. But I would like to ensure that I am not missing anything. I
want to supply our employees the best and most complete standards possible.

If you have any examples, my email is

belsen@ci.bremerton.wa.us

ScotCAD,

If this is not copywrited material, is it possible to ZIP it up and post
it in the customer files area for others to enjoy?

The email address is correct. If that doesn't work, email me at
bobelsen@charter.net. I know that one will work.

Thanks for the input and hopefully a copy of your standards.

I'd appreciate one, if it's not too much trouble.

Scott -

Please post this to the Customer Files group so that the requests
for email will slow down on the newsgroup

Thanks

Not trying to sound like a broken record, but we are trying to get standards
established and an example would go a long way. My email is
pikeirl@sympatico.ca or golfshape@bmts.com Thanks in advance

Buddy, I sent you not one, but two cad manuals - your office email rejected them (too big, or your mailbox is full), so I sent them to your ther address. Please email me directly if you don't have them.

Everyone else. The ones I have are copy written, so I can't post. I'd be happy to send a few people copies, as reference material, not to be forwarded, etc, etc (insert much legal mumbo jumbo limiting your use of this material). Since I am also looking to rewrite a manual, I would love to get some as exchnages for mine. In keeping with Anne's request that this thread not become an endless string of requests, please email me directly at c.prettyman@ramsa.com Please zip large manuals if you send them - IT sets limits on our mailboxes.

Good Afternoon from the UK,

I am in the process of updating our CAD Standards, and I would really like
to read through some that other people have. Can someone send them over to
me as well.

My e-mail address is

Tim.Delbaere@Pfizer.com

Thank you in advance.

My apologies for not replying to all these postings sooner, my infant son was in hospital, and work or anything related to it was completely secondary. The wee man is okay now, but gave his parents the fright of their lives….Anyway, anyway, anyway….I am in the process of adding to our CAD standards, and I will upload it into the Customer Files NG, soon. These CAD standards are far from complete, they are constantly being rewritten and amended as different obstacles or problems appear. Also they deal specifically with highway design in the UK, and refer to CTB, DWS and DWT files that I have not included. We also have a mix of licenses and this is reflected. Nevertheless there are a number of general dos and don’ts, and that could be applied across the disciplines. I will let all know when I have made then available….IAN

As requested, I have uploaded it onto Customer Files... anyway, this CAD manual is in no way complete. It has been written with civil engineering in mind, and specifically highway design. All units are in metric, and any associated files mentioned (DWS/DWT/CTB/etc.) are not included.
